I had a decent experience at this establishment. The staff is friendly, and they have lots of options, but the price is a lot for someone who can’t eat a lot in one sitting. The staff does seemingly ‘watch’ their guests like hawks while we’re eating our meals, which is weird. The food is definitely one of the better buffets that I’ve went too, but $40 for two people is excessive. It’s better for someone who has a larger appetite.

Great Chow buffet is a good bargain place for variety dishes. It’s no frills and no sushi (go figure. Better to dine in as I have many times. Takeout is not worth it— way too many add-on prices. These two plates cost $26. We just popped in for some quick takeout noodles. But, the buffet noodle tray was empty so we got noodles at the Hibachi station instead with shrimp. The noodles were good! However the value to price is not so great; thus the 3 stars.
